San Gimignano Pecorino at Ristorante Alcide, Tuscany

A few kilometres from Poggibonsi, the medieval towers of San Gimignano rise above the Chianti hills. Here, the Nuovo Caseificio produces some of the finest Tuscan pecorino cheeses: fresh, semi-aged and aged, from local sheep's milk. At Ristorante Alcide, the pecorino board is accompanied by local honey from A. Tassi and seasonal fruit.
